Our Leadership

Meet the people leading the charge to restore Britain for the British.

Rupert Lowe
Founder & Leader

Rupert Lowe

Member of Parliament for Great Yarmouth

Rupert Lowe is the founder and leader of Restore Britain. Elected as the Member of Parliament for Great Yarmouth, he brings decades of business and political experience to the movement.

Before entering politics, Rupert served as chairman of Southampton FC, where he built a reputation for straight-talking leadership and fiscal responsibility.

After leaving Reform UK, Rupert founded Restore Britain on 30 June 2025 as a pressure group to hold the political establishment to account. Under his leadership, the movement has grown to over 123,000 members and was officially registered as a political party on 13 February 2026.

Rupert believes in direct democracy — where every member has a vote on every policy — and is committed to restoring Britain for the British people.

Charlie Downes
Co-founder, Spokesperson & Campaigns Director

Charlie Downes

Working alongside Rupert Lowe from the very beginning, Charlie has overseen the rapid growth of Restore Britain from a pressure group to a fully-registered political party with over 123,000 members.

As campaigns director, Charlie coordinates nationwide campaigns, manages communications, and ensures that the voice of ordinary British people is heard at the highest levels of politics.
